FAQs

Are children invited?

1

Yes! Although we won’t have any dedicated children’s activities, kids are more than welcome. Please include their names on your RSVP card so we know how much food we’ll need!

Unfortunately, our tent vendor is unable to provide any high chairs. Please plan and pack accordingly!

What’s the dress code?

2

For the welcome party, we suggest something dressy casual. For the ceremony and reception, we request cocktail attire.

While the welcome party will occur indoors, the ceremony and reception will be taking place in the yard. Please keep this in mind when selecting your shoewear!

What is the welcome party?

3

Since so many of our guests will be traveling from out of town, we’re using Friday night between 7 and 10 as an opportunity to hold a housewarming party! Come whenever, stay for however long you’d like. We’ll have lots of progress pictures, historical photos, and other information on display around the house for you to learn more about where the house has been, where we started with it last October, and where we hope to take it in the future. We hope you’ll join us. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

How do we get to Towanda? Where should we stay?

4

Please see our page on logistics!

We can just take an uber or lyft from the hotel to the house, right?

5

While it’s probably possible to schedule a rideshare from an airport to Towanda, we wouldn’t depend on using rideshares once you’re here in town. We will, however, have a shuttle bus set up on Saturday between four local hotels and the house to transport guests before and after the wedding. Please make sure to indicate your interest when you RSVP, and keep an eye on the logistics page as we get closer to the wedding.
